Frame & Fame – Terms & Conditions

Article 1 – Definitions

  • Cooling-off Period: The 14-day window during which a consumer may cancel a purchase without justification.

  • Consumer: A natural person purchasing for personal use, not in a business or professional context.

  • Day: Calendar day.

  • Distance Contract: An agreement made via remote communication (e.g., website, email).

  • Durable Medium: A tool for storing information in a retrievable form (e.g., email, PDF).

  • Entrepreneur: Frame & Fame, offering eyewear and related accessories online.

  • Right of Withdrawal: The consumer’s right to cancel the contract within the cooling-off period.

  • Remote Communication Technique: Methods used to make agreements without in-person interaction (e.g., online platforms).

Article 2 – Applicability
These Terms & Conditions apply to all offers, orders, and contracts via the Frame & Fame website.
By placing an order, the consumer agrees to these terms.
A digital copy will be provided before purchase finalization and is available for storage.
In case of conflicting terms, the most favorable interpretation for the consumer prevails.

Article 4 – The Offer
All offers include:

  • Clear details on price, duration, and specific conditions

  • Accurate product descriptions (images are illustrative)

  • Full cost disclosure including taxes and shipping

  • Right of withdrawal information
    Frame & Fame reserves the right to adjust or cancel offers at any time.

Article 5 – The Contract
The contract is finalized once the consumer accepts the offer and completes payment.
For online orders:

  • Confirmation is sent electronically

  • Data is securely transmitted via encrypted channels

  • We reserve the right to reject or amend orders with valid justification

Article 6 – Right of Cancellation
Consumers may cancel within 14 days of receiving the product.
Conditions:

  • Product must be unused, in original condition and packaging

  • Cancellation must be notified in writing or via email

  • Items must be returned within 14 days of notice

Article 7 – Returns & Refunds

  • Return shipping is at the consumer’s expense

  • Refunds are issued within 14 days of receiving the returned item or valid proof of return

  • Refunds include the original purchase price (excluding extra delivery options)

Article 8 – Pricing
Prices are fixed during offer validity and exclude VAT or duties unless otherwise stated.
International Orders: Customs and import fees are the buyer’s responsibility.

Article 9 – Product Compliance & Warranty
Products will:

  • Match provided descriptions

  • Be fit for intended use

Warranty excludes:

  • Misuse, third-party modifications, wear and tear

  • Defects must be reported within 14 days of receipt

Article 10 – Delivery

  • Orders are processed diligently and shipped to the address provided

  • Delivery timeframe: within 30 days unless agreed otherwise

  • Delays will be communicated. If delivery exceeds this period, the consumer may cancel for a full refund

  • If a product is unavailable, a suitable alternative may be offered—subject to consumer approval

Article 11 – Duration Contracts
Applies to recurring or subscription services.

  • Open-ended: Can be canceled with 1-month notice

  • Fixed-term: Ends as agreed unless renewed by mutual consent

  • Long-term (12+ months): Cancelable after 1 year

Article 12 – Payment
Payment is due at checkout unless otherwise arranged.
Any inaccuracies in billing should be reported promptly.

Article 13 – Complaints

  • Issues must be reported within 7 days of discovery

  • We respond within 14 days

  • Valid complaints are resolved via repair, replacement, or refund at no cost to the consumer

Article 14 – Disputes
We aim for fair, amicable resolutions.
Unresolved disputes may be directed to a recognized dispute resolution body.

Article 15 – Force Majeure
Frame & Fame is not liable for delays or failures due to unforeseeable events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, outages).

Article 16 – Governing Law
All agreements are governed by U.S. law unless consumer protection law in the buyer’s country applies.
